School Photo Info

Having started out volunteering at her son’s Montessori School taking student photos, Alison has emerged as one of Northern Virginia’s premier class and individual student photographers. Known for her keen eye for timelessness and artistic expression, Alison is able to capture your child’s unique style and personality in a way that shines through in every photo.

How it Works

After establishing date and times for school sessions the school's point of contact will receive an electronic flyer to distribute to parents.  No payment upfront.  The flyer will contain photo session dates and prices for jpgs and prints.

For the Students

Every single viable photo taken during a shoot will be available as jpgs for purchase. Typically, between 2 and 5 photos will be taken during a student/class photography session.

Seven to ten days after the student/class photography session the school will receive an email with a link to the student/class gallery.  This link can be forwarded to the families for viewing and purchasing jpgs and prints.

For the School

After the families have purchased jpgs and prints the school will receive all viable jpgs of the students and classes.  These images can be used in promotional material and the school yearbook. And 15% of photographer’s profit will be given back to the school.
